Things You’ll Want To Know

Before you arrive at Digital Family Summit, you may have a few questions. Good thing we’ve got answers!

Registration

Registration is Friday 10/11 from 3:00-8:00 pm on the 2nd Floor of the Hilton Baltimore. If need be, you can register on Saturday/Sunday too (starting at 8:15 am each day). Parents will need to sign a waiver for kids under 18, so please come as a family to registration. Breakfasts, Lunches & Dinners, Oh My!

A few of you told us you didn’t realize that we’ve got your meals covered – all six of them! That’s right, we’ve got Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast, lunch and dinner, and Sunday breakfast and lunch for you – included in your registration! Plus lots of snacks throughout the weekend. So if you have any dietary restrictions (gluten-free, dairy-free, whatever-free), please let us know at registration and we’ll be sure you’ve got what you need.

Opening Reception

More on food: on Friday from 5:30-6:30 pm we’ll have some snacks and conversations in the South Foyer (right near Registration, 2nd Floor). Come join us to meet your fellow conference-goers.

Welcome Dinner

We’ll kick off Friday at 6:30 pm with a few icebreakers and a special surprise: a stand-up comedy set from teen comedian Simon Cadel. Check him out on YouTube, and get ready to laugh. We’ll have a buffet dinner to fuel up for the party directly after dinner, which is…..

Karaoke Party

Friday night we’re going to sing our hearts out! Our Karaoke Party features goofy costumes, a make-your-own ice cream sundae bar, and a great photo op. Oh, and prizes for the best singer, the worst singer, the bravest, the silliest….you get the idea!

PARKING

The Baltimore Marathon may snarl traffic around the Hilton on Friday night and Saturday. Please allow extra time!

Please follow these instructions to drive to the Hilton Baltimore garage (assuming you’re already in the city and have left the highway):

Take Martin Luther King Drive from either direction to Baltimore Street
Turn East on Baltimore Street
Turn South on Eutaw Street
Enter Hilton parking on Eutaw between Camden & Pratt

(There is another entrance to the garage on Camden Street which will be inaccessible on Saturday until 10:30 am.)

Parking costs $40 per day via valet, and $28 per day at the self-park.

If you want to see other parking options, check out Best Parking. (But please be aware that the Marathon may be throwing those prices off. Make sure to ask how much it is before they park your car.)
